Vol. 342 No. 1

Written Answers. - County Cork School Heating Grant.

845.

asked the Minister for Education when a special heating grant will be paid in respect of Glenahulla national school, Mitchelstown, County Cork; and if he will give a detailed explanation on why payment is not being made, as it has been outstanding for some time and numerous representations have been made; and if he is aware that the matter is the cause of great dissatisfaction among the parents.

Tenders for improved heating and lighting services at Glenahulla national school, County Cork, were submitted in error by the chairman's consultants to the Office of Public Works. They have been received in my Department and are being examined. A decision will be conveyed to the chairman at an early date.
