Vol. 342 No. 2

Written Answers. - County Wexford Ear Surgery Applicant.

625.

asked the Minister for Health when he will ensure that a person (details supplied) in County Wexford will have minor surgery on her ears as promised by the South Eastern Health Board in 1982.

Arrangements for providing hospital treatment in County Wexford are a matter for the South Eastern Health Board.

The person concerned was seen by an audiometrician at the county clinic, Wexford in November 1982 and after examination was referred to an ENT surgeon. Arrangement have been made for the person to be seen by the ENT surgeon on 20 May 1983. As she has not yet been examined by the surgeon a decision as to whether or not she requires surgery would not have been made.
