Vol. 342 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Receivership and Liquidation Fees.

40.

asked the Minister for Trade, Commerce and Tourism if he has any new plans to change the method of calculation of fees and expenses in receiverships and liquidations; and, if so, if he will give details of these plans.

While the Companies Act 1963 contains certain provisions relating to remuneration of receivers and liquidators, it does not specify how fees and expenses are to be calculated. These matters are being examined, however, in conjunction with various other proposals to amend company law.
