This transaction involves the sale to my Department of a share in a commonage. The statutory procedure leading to the vesting of the lands in the Department is nearing completion. Meanwhile investigation of vendor's title is in hands. Payment of the purchase money will take place when title is cleared and possession of the property taken by my Department.
