Vol. 342 No. 4

Written Answers. - FEOGA Grants.

831.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will give details of the grants paid in each county under the FEOGA grant scheme in the food processing industry in 1982.

Grants paid under the FEOGA scheme on the marketing and processing of agricultural products in 1982 are set out at (a) of attached table. Payments made in 1982 would in general relate to investment projects which were allocated aid by the EEC Commission some years previously as aid can only be paid out to the firms concerned when work has been completed.

Details of aid allocated to firms in 1982 for new projects are given at (b) of attached table.
