Vol. 342 No. 7

Written Answers. - Payment of Fees.

819.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the services for which farmers must pay fees to (a) agricultural officers and (b) farm development service officers in respect of visits by them to their holdings.

The charge of £20 per visit applies to all farm visits made on or after 1 March 1983 by ACOT and farm development service staff in connection with the farm modernisation scheme.

The charge does not apply to normal advisory work by ACOT staff nor to visits made in connection with the western drainage scheme or the programme for western development.
