Kerry County Council made an order on 18 April 1983 under section 31 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948, prohibiting the erection or retention of any temporary dwelling from the railway level crossing at Farranfore for a distance of 1.477 miles northwards as far as the cross-roads at Inchinvima.
There is provision in the Act for application to the Minister for the Environment for annulment of an order made under seciton 31. I have not received any such application within the statutory period and, accordingly, the order will come into force thirty days after 28 April 1983, the date of its publication by the local authority.
