A project team representative of my Department and of the hospital authorities was set up last April to prepare a planning brief for the overall development of the hospital. Because of the urgent necessity to proceed with the development of the out-patient and casualty Departments it was decided that the project team should proceed with the planning of these two departments as a priority. The project team are making satisfactory progress and their work is on schedule.
