asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when the telephone service of persons (details supplied) in Dublin 3 will be repaired as it has been out of order since last Christmas.

Service will be restored within a week.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be provided for a person (details supplied) in County Dublin who has been on the waiting list since 1978.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a public telephone will be erected in Glenbrien, County Wexford.

The provision of a kiosk at Glenbrien is not considered warranted at present and it is not proposed therefore to provide one there.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will arrange for the provision of a telephone kiosk in the Castletown area of Carlow as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a person (details supplied) in Dublin 14 will receive a telephone service in view of the fact that he paid the installation and rental fee a year ago; and the reasons for the delay.

It has not been possible to provide telephone service for the person named so far because of a cable fault which came to light at the installation stage. It is expected that service will be provided within about a month.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will provide a telephone line for St. Thomas's School, Jobstown, Tallaght, County Dublin as a matter of urgency.

Terms have been quoted to the school named and it is expected that service will be provided within about three months after the necessary agreement has ben signed.
