Deputy Cathal Seán Coughlan, the new Member for the Constituency of Donegal South West, was introduced to the Ceann Comhairle by Deputy Ahern.

I should like to congratulate Deputy Coughlan on his first day in Dáil Éireann and wish him a long and successful career in the House. He is more than welcome.

I must apologise. I am meeting the Cork Deputies from all parties about the Dunlop operation. It was because of that I was late. I join with what has been said in congratulating Deputy Coughlan.

I understand a statement is to be made.

I think we have thrown you into a state of total confusion.

(Interruptions.)

I hope I achieve my aim of throwing the switch back the other way, Deputy Haughey.
