The vacancy in the employment exchange, Wexford, was for a temporary messenger and the person concerned, who is an unemployed single man, was engaged by the manager of the employment exchange as a temporary substitute messenger. Following consideration of the report of the manager on the applicants for the post of temporary messenger my predecessor approved the appointment of an unemployed married man with dependent children to fill the vacancy.
