The rates of wages paid to non-teaching staff in vocational schools, colleges and community colleges vary from committee to committee and are related to the rates payable to similar staff employed by local authorities.
The wage rates payable to similar staff in comprehensive and community schools are, in general, related to those payable to employees in the service of the local vocational education committee of the area in which the relevant school is situated. Information in regard to the rates currently paid in the case of each individual vocational education committee is not requested by my Department for record purposes.
If the Deputy requires information with regard to specific grades I shall make the necessary inquiries and communicate with him in the matter.
