asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will expedite the payment of a suckler calf grant for a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon; and the reason for the delay in this case.
The eligibility of the person named for payment under 1982 EEC suckler cow premium will be determined when a comparison of his on-farm and off-farm incomes, now in train, is completed shortly. The reason for the delay in this case was that the person named was requested to furnish details of his on-farm income on 10 November 1982 but did not do so until 25 May 1983.
