asked the Minister for Justice if, in view of the rising rate of vandalism and attacks on elderly persons in the Sandymount area, Dublin, he will allocate a Garda patrol car for Irishtown Garda station.

Limerick East): The allocation of official transport to individual stations is a matter for the Garda authorities who say that, following a review of the needs of the Irishtown sub-district, arrangements are being made for the allocation of a patrol car to the station within the next few days.
