asked the Minister for Education if she will give an up-to-date report on the position in regard to the new national school facilities at Kilcornan, County Limerick.

My Department await a report from the Commissioners of Public Works on the feasibility of extending Kilcornan national school, County Limerick. When the commissioners' report has been received, a decision will be conveyed to the chairman of the school board of management without delay.

(Limerick West) asked the Minister for Education when a decision will be made to commence the construction of a post-primary school in Askeaton, County Limerick.

My Department have not yet decided on the date by which the new post-primary school at Askeaton should be provided. Pending clarification of the pupil capacity and a site for a post-primary school at Askeaton, County Limerick, I am not in a position to say when planning for the project will commence.
