Vol. 343 No. 10

Written Answers. - Kerry GAA Club.

723.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will provide a 50 per cent grant to Caherdaniel GAA Club, in County Kerry, to enable it to develop an alternative site which is on offer to it by the Office of Public Works and which could become a derelict site unless substantial State aid is provided urgently to assist it; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

There has been agreement in principle between the Commissioners of Public Works and Caherdaniel GAA Club on the location of a suitable alternative site to the one at present being used on the sand dunes.

The commissioners have no funds at their disposal to provide a grant, or any financial assistance, to the club for the development of the site.
