asked the Taoiseach (i) the number of acres of (a) barley, (b) oats, (c) wheat, (d) rye, (e) malting barley, (f) sugar beet, (g) fodder beet, (h) mangolds, (i) turnips, (j) potatoes and (k) catch crops grown in the country in 1982 and the gross yields of each; and (ii) the amount of cereals and feeding stuffs imported in 1982 and their value.

(Dún Laoghaire): I propose to circulate a statement showing the latest available information on the area and production of crops together with the quantities and values of unmilled cereals and animal feedingstuffs, respectively, imported in 1982.

Would it be possible in circulating these figures to give the comparative figures for last year?

(Dún Laoghaire): Unfortunately, as the question is framed, it did not ask for that information.

The Deputy should put down a question.

The Minister did not include gross yields. Would he be so good as to give that information?
