Vol. 344 No. 3

Written Answers. - Killarney National School Extension.

918.

asked the Minister for Education the up-to-date position in the provision of an extra classroom in the Gap of Dunloe national school, Beaufort, Killarney, County Kerry as the whole school is now a hazard to public health, and the reason for the continued delay in this case.

As was stated in the reply to the Deputy's previous question on 15 February last, it is proposed to replace the existing national school at the Gap of Dunloe, County Kerry, by a new two-room building. It is understood from the Commissioners of Public Works that the legal arrangements regarding the site are in hands. When these arrangements have been completed, it will be a matter for the commissioners to make the necessary arrangements for the erection of a new school building in consultation with the chairman of the board of management.
