On 14 June 1983 an application was received in my Department from Galway County Council for permission under the Foreshore Act, 1933, to lay a sewerage outfall pipe on the foreshore at Rinville West, County Galway, in connection with the proposed Oranmore sewerage scheme.
The application is being considered in consultation with other interested bodies. The county council will shortly publish notice of the application in the local papers. A period of 21 days will be allowed after the date of publication for the receipt of objections, after which a decision in the matter will be taken as soon as possible.
