The compilation of the data requested by the Deputy is not justified in my opinion as it would involve the expenditure of an inordinate amount of staff time. I would refer the Deputy to the published reports of the National Prices Commission, copies of which are available in the Dáil Library and are circulated to all Deputies. Recommendations of the National Prices Commission which are modified or not accepted by me are set out in GIS press releases which are issued at the time of publication of the commission's monthly reports.
