Vol. 344 No. 4

Written Answers. - Hospital Staff Wage Deductions.

703.

asked the Minister for Health if he will instruct the finance department of the Southern Health Board to reduce from £20 to £5 per week the deductions from the wages of a person (details supplied) in County Kerry who is a member of the staff of Edenburn Hospital, Gortatlea, Tralee, County Kerry in view of the fact that the fault lies with the Southern Health Board.

I understand that this relates to an overpayment which is a matter for the Southern Health Board. I have no function in this case and I suggest that the Deputy get in touch with the board about this.
