My Department determine in accordance with the rules for the payment of incremental salary to secondary teachers the number of teachers to whom incremental salary may be paid. Within this number it is a matter for school management to decide how best it will cater for the needs and aptitudes of its pupils.
The school authorities have been informed as to the number of teachers to whom incremental salary may be paid in 1983-84.
