asked the Minister for Education the total amount of capital moneys which will be spent in Counties Sligo and Leitrim during 1983 (i) on each national school and (ii) on each post-primary school, where moneys have been allocated.

Information in regard to estimated expenditure in the case of schools where contracts have been placed or tenders sanctioned is being compiled and will be forwarded to the Deputy at an early date.

asked the Minister for Education when sanction will be given for the very necessary extension to Rathcormac national school, County Sligo.

asked the Minister for Education when sanction will be given for the extension of Rathcormac national school, County Sligo.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 683 and 685 together.

The question of how best to provide additional accommodation at Rathcormac national school, County Sligo, while making the best possible use of the existing facilities is being considered at present by my Department. A decision will be conveyed to the chairman as soon as possible.
