Since this company closed on 22 April 1983, the IDA have been actively seeking a company to take over the factory for an alternative project and have notified particulars of the plant to all their overseas offices. Contact has been made with a number of companies which expressed interest in the plant. The Deputy can be assured that the IDA are doing everything possible to find a suitable replacement project for the Interton premises.
