Vol. 344 No. 10

Standing Orders: Motion.

Dún Laoghaire): I move:

"That the following be adopted as an additional Standing Order of Dáil Éireann relative to Public Business —

‘59A. That if, in the course of proceedings under Standing Orders 58 and 59, in the case of any division, the Ceann Comhairle is satisfied that normal access by Members to the Chamber has been impeded by the implementation of special security measures at Leinster House, he shall interrupt such proceedings and shall postpone the taking of such division to such later time or date as he shall direct.'".

Is the motion agreed?

In all the din coming from the Government benches — they are most disorderly — I could not hear the question, Sir.

I asked if item No. 1 was agreed.

It gives an opportunity for anyone who wants to talk on the Order of Business to speak on item No. 1. Does anyone wish to raise any matter?

Question put and agreed to.

On item No. 1——

That item has already been passed.
