Approval in principle has been given for the planning of a new secondary school for St. Paul's, Oughterard, County Galway, to cater for 275 students.
The initiation of planning is a matter for the school authorities, following agreement on a schedule of accommodation. At this stage I am not in a position to say when a new school will be provided.
