asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange for the immediate payment of a £1,000 new house grant to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

The applicant in this case has been requested to submit information in support of his application for a new house grant. On receipt of this information my Department will be able to assess his eligibility for the grant.

asked the Minister for the Environment the position regarding a mortgage subsidy application by a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

A mortgage subsidy has been approved in this case.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

A grant cannot be paid in this case until an inspection establishes that the house is satisfactorily completed and occupied and complies with all the other conditions of the new house grant scheme. The inspection is now being arranged.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

The applicant in this case has been asked to submit additional information regarding his application. When this information is received an inspection will be arranged with a view to the allocation of a grant.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a £1,000 new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Monaghan.

The grant was paid on the 21 October, 1983.
