Vol. 345 No. 3

Written Answers. - Meath Postal Arrangements.

288.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs (1) the number and location of postal distribution centres in County Meath; (2) whether the postal deliveries take place by van or otherwise; (3) the number of persons delivering post per van and otherwise from each distribution centre; and (4) the areas that each distribution centre covers.

Mail is delivered from 30 centres in County Meath, involving delivery in vans by 36 persons and by 29 persons otherwise. It would not be in the public interest to give this information in the detail sought.
