Vol. 345 No. 4

Written Answers. - County Wexford Income Tax Account.

264.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will as a matter of urgency correct a long-standing error in an income tax account for a person (details supplied) in County Wexford.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that an assessment has been made in the usual way on the taxpayer for the year 1982-83 in accordance with the statutory provisions. The person concerned has lodged an appeal against the assessment and the appeal will be listed for hearing before the appeal commissioner at the earliest opportunity.
