A detailed report and feasibility study prepared by the Commissioners of Public Works in connection with the extension of Ardfinnan National School have been approved by my Department. The commissioners have been asked to proceed with the preparation of a sketch scheme.
It is not possible at this stage to say when building work may commence.

It is understood that tenders for the proposed extension at Powerstown National School, Clonmel, County Tipperary, are being examined by the Commissioners of Public Works whose report and recommendation are awaited.
