Vol. 345 No. 11

Written Answers. - County Donegal School.

524.

asked the Minister for Education the position regarding the proposed new school for Lettermacaward, County Donegal.

The Commissioners of Public Works recently reported to my Department that a number of sites have been inspected in connection with the proposed new national school at Lettermacaward, County Donegal, and that a detailed survey of one of these is to be undertaken in the near future with a view to establishing its suitability for building.

A site previously rejected as unsuitable is to be re-inspected as it is understood additional land adjoining is being offered.

Architectural planning of the new school building cannot be undertaken until it has been established that a suitable site is available.
