A capital grant of £166,000 has been allocated by my Department to Dublin Corporation towards the cost of providing a sports hall in Finglas. There are no funds at my Department's disposal from which additional capital assistance could be provided towards the proposed development.
Dublin Corporation recently informed my Department that it is engaged in discussions with the City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee with a view to having the sports hall constructed in conjunction with that body.
