asked the Minister for Education when the maintenance grant for the completed works at Owenbeg national school, County Sligo, will be paid.

My Department are arranging for the Commissioners of Public Works to inspect and report on the repairs carried out to the prefabricated classrooms at Owenbeg national school, County Sligo with a view to grant aiding the costs of necessary work. My Department will be in touch with the chairman of the school's board of management as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for Education when sanction will be given for an extension to Rathcormac national school, County Sligo; when work will commence; and the approximate date for the completion of work.

The Commissioners of Public Works have been asked to provide a feasibility report on various options which have been proposed for the provision of additional accommodation at Rathcormac national school, County Sligo. At this stage it is not possible to say when work on the building of the extension may commence.
