Preliminary planning for a new Garda District Headquarters at Dungarvan has been completed. Following resolution of a particular local authority requirement in relation to the project, concerning which the Commissioners of Public Works are in correspondence with the local authority, preparation of the contract documents will be put in hands. It is too early yet to say when work is likely to commence.
