I take it that the question relates to a compulsory purchase order made by Galway County Council on 18 October 1983, for the acquisition of lands required for the construction of a by-pass of Oranmore. Valid objections to the order were submitted to me before 30 November 1983, the date specified in the order as the latest date for the submission of such objections. I can assure the Deputy that there will be no avoidable delay in making arrangements for holding the necessary public local inquiry and in the final determination of the matter.
