Any day during the period from Thursday 14 June to Sunday 17 June inclusive may be appointed as polling day at the European Assembly elections. At the appropriate time I will consider carefully which of these days should be appointed. As the Deputy is aware, there are advantages and disadvantages attaching to polling on a Saturday.
