Vol. 346 No. 10

Written Answers. - Telephone Service.

362.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will give details of works being carried out on telephone lines in the Greenhills-Walkinstown Cross areas, Dublin.

I regret that records are not kept in a form that would enable this information to be obtained readily. Its compilation would involve a disproportionate amount of staff time.

If the Deputy can furnish additional information, for example, the names of the roads or estates in the areas referred to, further inquiry will be made.

363.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the reasons for the delay in having a proper telephone service restored to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12.

Service will be fully restored within a day or so.
