I move:
That the period for reporting back of the Joint Committee on Building Land be extended to 31st March, 1984.
An interim report of the joint committee has been circulated to Members to the effect that the Joint Committee has made progress in the matters referred to it and has agreed to the following interim report: the Joint Committee finds that because of the volume of submissions made to it it will not be in a position to report back to the House by the date fixed, 31 December 1983. The Joint Committee, accordingly, requests the House to extend the period to 31 March 1984.
