In view of their location, the pupils in question would not qualify for a special transport service under the terms of the school transport scheme. However, they may avail themselves of a special service which caters for pupils of another area. They reside within 1.3 miles from the present route of that service and such an arrangement is considered to be a reasonable standard of service.
