Vol. 347 No. 3

Written Answers. - Tax Rebates.

253.

asked the Minister for Finance the reason a tax rebate has not been sanctioned for a person (details supplied) in County Wexford.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the inspector of taxes has no record of having received an application for a tax refund in this case.

254.

asked the Minister for Finance when a tax refund will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork as he has been waiting for payment for a considerable length of time.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that, on the basis of the information supplied, they are unable to trace the taxpayer in their records. If the name of the tax office which deals with the taxpayer and the Revenue and Social Insurance (RSI) number are supplied the matter will be examined.
