Works nearing completion

The specialist studies in connection with the design of the Dunkellin/Lavally drainage scheme, commissioned to investigate the likely effects of the drainage proposals on groundwater in the area of the scheme and on the oysterbeds at Clarinbridge, are the subject of contracts which will be continued.

Western Development Fund Administered by the Department of Finance

A co-operative engaged in mariculture and two horticultural projects are being grant-aided in 1984 by sums of £2,750, £18,353 and £728 respectively. In addition a FEOGA grant has been approved for one of the horticultural projects.
