asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the two year delay in sanctioning parking by-laws submitted by Limerick County Council for County Limerick; and when sanction can be expected.

The position regarding traffic and parking by-laws submitted by the Commissioner of the Garda Síochána for a number of areas, including Limerick city and county, was set out in the replies to Questions Nos. 340 and 243 put down by Deputy Robert Molloy on 30 November 1983 and 18 January 1984, respectively.
