The information in the form sought by the Deputy is not available in my Department. However, on the basis of information supplied by the local authority, the number in servant grades, which would broadly correspond to outdoor staff, employed by Waterford Corporation immediately before the extension of the city boundary, which became effective on 1 January 1980, was 232. Again on the basis of information supplied by the local authority the number in servant grades employed at 31 December 1982, the latest date for which figures are available, was 211.
