Vol. 349 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Ministerial Visits Abroad.

13.

asked the Minister for Justice if he will state in respect of visits abroad by himself and the Ministers of State attached to his Department between 1 March and 20 March, on business other than official EEC business, by whom they were accompanied on each such visit; and the cost to the State, including air fare, accommodation and expenses of each such person.

(Limerick East): I refer the Deputy to the answer which I gave on Tuesday, 13 March 1984, (Official Report, Vol. 348, No. 11, column 2003).

I was accompanied on the trip by my Private Secretary. As the trip was completed only yesterday final details of the cost are not yet available. I will arrange, however, for the details of the cost to be supplied to the Deputy in due course.

I appreciate that the Minister is prepared to do what apparently the Taoiseach is not prepared to do. At this stage I ask for written replies in respect of all the questions the Taoiseach has transferred to Ministers which I submitted to him.
