Vol. 349 No. 3

Written Answers. - Maintenance Allowance Grant.

499.

asked the Minister for Health the reason a disabled person's maintenance allowance has not yet been granted to a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary; and when it will be granted.

The person in question applied for a disabled persons maintenance allowance in April, 1982. The allowance was refused on means grounds. The health board have not received any application from the person in question since that time. If there has been any worsening of his financial circumstances since his original application, he should apply again to the South-Eastern Health Board for an allowance.
