asked the Minister for Education when the new extension to Faha national school, Milltown, County Kerry will be constructed; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 560 and 561 together.
My Department have agreed in principle to the provision of a new national school building at Faha, Milltown, County Kerry. Sketch plans have been prepared. In the light of the appointment recently of an additional teacher my Department's inspector has been asked to furnish a report on the enrolment trends at this school with a view to the provision of a building adequate for requirements. It is not possible at this stage to say when the construction of the new school will begin.
