Vol. 350 No. 1

Business of Dáil.

Dún Laoghaire): My announcement is to clear up what we decided on the Order of Business today with regard to times to complete various sections of the Finance Bill. I propose that, notwithstanding the order of the Dáil of this day, the proceedings of the Committee Stage of the Finance Bill, 1984, if not previously concluded, should be brought to a conclusion in accordance with the following timetable and where proceedings are to be concluded at a stated time they shall be concluded by one question which shall be put from the Chair which shall, in relation to amendments, include only amendments set down by the Minister for Finance. The timetable is as follows: Tuesday, 8 May, 1984, time at which question shall be put, Part 1, Chapters 3 to 6, inclusive, 6.45 p.m.; Chapters 7 to 9, inclusive, 7.30 p.m.; Chapter 10, 8.30 p.m. Wednesday, 9 May 1984, Part 2, 5.30 p.m.; Parts 3 and 4, 9.30 p.m.; Parts 5 and 6, Schedules and Title, 10.30 p.m.

Is that agreed?

It is agreed but I thought it was agreed earlier.

(Dún Laoghaire): I wanted to make the position clear.
