Vol. 350 No. 1

Written Answers. - Dublin School.

662.

asked the Minister for Education if she will outline the up-to-date position of staffing at a school (details supplied) in Dublin 16 in view of the decrease in the number of teaching staff there.

The present staffing in the school referred to is principal, 12 assistants and a remedial teacher. The enrolments at the school have been declining and in accordance with the rules for national schools the post of 12th assistant will cease to be recognised, should the required retention average be not reached in the quarter ended 30 June 1984.
