Vol. 351 No. 3

Written Answers. - Redundancy Payment.

584.

asked the Minister for Labour the reason for the delay in having a redundancy payments application dealt with for a person (details supplied) in County Waterford.

According to a redundancy certificate sent to my Department by his former employer, the person concerned was paid a redundancy lump sum of £1,114.37 on 23 January 1984 and signed a receipt to that effect. On the basis of the information in the redundancy certificate concerning his age and length of service, the employee appears to have been paid his full statutory entitlement under the Redundancy Payments Acts.
