Vol. 351 No. 4

Written Answers. - Ashbourne (Meath) Garda Station.

533.

asked the Minister for Finance when the final drawings for the Garda station in Ashbourne, County envisaged that the building of it will be carried out.

A scheme based on a revised brief of accommodation requirements recently received from the Department of Justice is being prepared. That scheme, when it is ready, will be submitted to the local authority under the Planning Acts following which the drawings and documents needed for invitation of tenders will be prepared. It is not possible to say, precisely, when those documents will be completed but work on the building of the new Garda station is expected to get under way in 1985.
